What brought you here? Did you find us via the internet? Did you Google us because you saw the 1DOWN MC patch on a members vest? Did you hear someone speaking about us? It doesn’t really matter how you found us, I’m just happy you took the time to give us a visit and learn a little something about 1DOWN Motorcycle Club.

1DOWN MC is a strong brotherhood of motorcycle riders. We are NOT your typical die-hard motorcycle club, but we do respect all clubs and their practices undeniably. We are a brotherhood of bikers that love to have fun, and fly our color “Orange & White” with pride. We are an all men club only.

As you will soon learn, 1DOWN MC is a multi-racial, greatly diverse organization and we love and respect everyone no matter what your race, color or ethnic background. 1DOWN MC is a new class of riders who still practice old school respect, honor, and loyalty 111%.

What does “1DOWN” mean?

1 – A slang term that stands for ONE LOVE. Some people use it as a departure. When you speak to someone you’re close-to, or even a friend you would say “1”, before you get off the phone or when your leaving your friend or family. 

DOWN – To be friends with someone or to spend time with them. To be in agreeance with someone or something. To stand strong for someone or something.

1DOWN MC is a 111% law abiding motorcycle club. 1DOWN MC does not claim any territories nor do we have any affiliations with any other clubs. 1DOWN MC has love for all Motorcycle Clubs. 1DOWN MC has found an acceleration in popularity due to our staring role on a main stream hit television show “Sons of Anarchy.” Due to our clubs popularity, 1DOWN MC has been requested to appear at many different motorcycle club events & functions. Even though 1DOWN MC may appear at different motorcycle club events, we do not claim any association or affiliations with any other clubs. We take pride in being recognized as a law abiding motorcycle club and in no way at all do we want anyone misunderstanding anything about 1DOWN MC.

A little bit about the President & Founder: After Goldie DeWitt bought his first Sport Bike, then a Harley Davidson soon after, he realized there were a lot of riders who rode both type bikes. Out of this premise, 1DOWN MC was born. Goldie understands that every rider shares a bond that goes beyond status, age, or the type of bike one rides. Because of this philosophy 1DOWN MC is not a club in the traditional sense. We are simply a bonded group of motorcycle enthusiasts who enjoy an adventurous ride and a fun event with good food!

1DOWN MC is officially recognized by the color Orange.

1DOWN Motorcycle Club is represented by the color ORANGE & WHITE. When you see that bright Orange coming up the street, just know it’s 1DOWN MC on it’s way. We are “THE ORANGE”. Orange represents Happiness, Creativity, & Determination. 1FF1 is our stamp. 1DOWN FOREVER FOREVER 1DOWN.

OUR OBJECTIVE

1DOWN Motorcycle Club is on a path to be 1 of Southern California’s Most RECOGNIZED & Most RESPECTED Motorcycle Clubs in the world. We take pride in keeping 1DOWN MC in good standing with everyone. We know the importance of paying respect forward.

We respect all clubs & we generate no hate. Making change for a brighter future for the entire motorcycle community is our goal. We look forward to seeing the growth in our Club Members & Family Members. We look for QUALITY not quantity, and we are in no rush. Our club is filled with members that Respect, Honor, & live for 1DOWN MOTORCYCLE CLUB.

Yes, we are known world wide, but we 1DOWN MC is and will forever be 1Club 1Chapter located right her in Southern California. We’ve learned from other clubs mistakes over the past 50 years and now it’s time for 1DOWN MC to step to the front and show the world what we can do. We don’t need to take anything from anybody to get where we’re going. All we plan on doing is GIVING. Giving our dedication, loyalty, & respect to our motorcycle club, & club brothers.

SAFETY

We are recognized as a safe riding club. We do not “stunt” and we do not support the act of stunting in areas where it is not properly & legally permitted. We respect riders that stunt for the sport of it and do it in controlled environments, but we frown upon riders that break the law and give a bad name to bikers by “stunting” on the freeway, residential streets, and any place that is not permitted to do this act, putting themselves and by-standers in risk of harm, even death.

1DOWN was Founded in 1996. Over the past 28 years, 1DOWN has been a trusted name through out Southern California, the United States & the United Kingdom. We ride with “old school” structure, respect for the road & our fellow brothers. When on the freeways and City streets, we always ride “Staggered“.

We have respect for the California Highway Patrol and our local Police Departments. We take great pride in keeping a courteous relationship with all law enforcement. Safety is very important to 1DOWN MC. Education is key and we strongly advise everyone to simply keep it cool when dealing with the police.

Since the introduction of 1DOWN MC to the motorcycle community, we’ve already seen several clubs a few years older than us, make changes to how they operate & ride based on what they’ve learned & taken in from us. We are very please to see the positive impact we are having on the motorcycle community.
