1DOWN MC Starring as the GRIM BASTARDS on hit TV show “Sons Of Anarchy” on channel FX.
From Wikipedia – GRIM BASTARDS -The Grim Bastards Motorcycle Club (GBMC) is a motorcycle club based in Lodi, California whose membership appears to be exclusively African American. Their patch is a laughing skull and a fist, and their colors are orange and black. They are played by a “real” MC by the name of 1DOWN MC out of California whom the Grim Bastards are heavily based on, including the same colors and the intentional resemblance of actor Michael Beach’s “T.O.” character to 1DOWN MC President Goldie DeWitt. In addition, the active President of 1DOWN MC plays a Sergeant At Arms of the Grim Bastards going by the name “Menace”, while other members of 1DOWN MC play members of the Grim Bastards.

SOA gun fight & chase
Here’s a fun scene we did on the SONS OF ANARCHY tv show.
All of the GRIM BASTARDS motorcycles are my personal bikes owned by me, GOLDIE DEWITT.
The only bike that wasn’t mine was the blue bagger which was owned by Malcolm Jamal Warner aka Theo from the Cosby show.

In this scene Mike Beach rode my Orange Bagger.
My 2 club brothers in real life rode my Neon Orange Dyna & my Blue Dyna. I rode my White Dyna.
When we shot up the house we all rode the motorcycles in the scene and out. But when we did the car chase they had stunt riders replace everyone except me. I was able to stay in and ride my own motorcycle and perform my own STUNT. So that means I got a BUMP to STUNT PAY!
I gotta admit I wasn’t prepared to do what they asked us to do but I did it like a professional. My biggest concern was that the stunt actors understand that my motorcycles all had HOT MOTORS and they were fast as fuck! Fortunately in the event they crashed any of my motorcycles the show insured them for like 3 times the value. God bless nobody crashed.
This was really a fun scene. We pull up in front of the house and we start shooting. That’s me on my white Dyna shooting blanks at the house. Then we smash out getting chased and then we set them up for an ambush. After Jax gives the sign to kill them all, you will see me in the most proper shooting stance BUSTING BLANKS on them mutherfuckers😜.
I was on SONS OF ANARCHY for 6 years. It was fun. Met a lot of people and turned down the opportunity to GET INVOLVED with acting. I did other shows, but It just wasn’t exactly my cup of tea. Emilio was cool as fuck. Straight cut from the streets and I respect him and got love for him. Other than that, most of the folks seem a bit too HOLLYWOOD and not DOWN to earth enough for me. No disrespect, but I’m sure they’ve heard it before.
If they did a spin off on the GRIM BASTARDS would I accept the offer if they reached out to me? I don’t know, but for sure I would NOT if it had anything to do with any homosexual character being placed within the GRIM BASTARDS.
I don’t speak too much on SOA but I felt like sharing something fun from the past.

The Drive-By
Here’s some footage from a “drive-by” on hit TV show Sons of Anarchy. The Grim Bastards MC shoot up the house of rival street gang leader. All Grim Bastards motorcycles are the personal motorcycles of Goldie DeWitt. Goldie is actually riding his all white Dyna in this scene. Michale Beach is riding the Orange Road Glide, the lead bike. Former tv super star of The Cosby show Malcolm Jamal Warner is riding his own motorcycle, the blue Road Glide. Unfortunately Malcolm Jamal Warner had a slight issue on his take off, so we had to shoot this scene a few times. I must admit, I had a issue 1 time as well.
